| Bio: | ![]() Kendra is by far a perfectionist. She'll go out of her way to hide the imperfections in her life, which was part of the reason she kept Ariana's condition a secret until it killed her. It is also the reason she moved from Mould-on-the-Wold to Godric's Hollows following the imprisonment of her beloved husband. She is not at all afraid to point out other people's mistakes and voice her opinion as to what the proper way to deal with situations would have been. She comes off as a bit cold hearted to most people. Kendra gave up when she couldn't help her daughter, so it became a burden which changed the woman and dramitically changed her. At one point, she'd devloped a drinking habit and people labled her as quite the drunk. She felt happiest when her mind was wasted and all her cares and worries were put behind her. Although the woman doesn't have what appears to be a very loving side, she does. Kendra just learned to keep that hidden. There was no use showing it when her loved ones were broken or in prison. Quite honestly while she was a horrible mother, Kendra was devistated when Percival told her what had happened to Ariana and brought her home. It only broke the woman more when her loving and loyal husband was sent to Azkaban. The Parents: Kendra hasn't spoken about her mother and father in decades. When her mother failed to agree that Percival had every right to torment the Muggles who hurt Ariana, she stopped speaking with them. To this day they remain a sore subject and are usually easily brushed away in conversation. The Husband: Kendra adores her husband Percival and believed he had all the right in the world to torture those Muggles for hurting her little girl. She was completely crushed when they took him away and sentenced him to life in Azkaban. The Children: Kendra was never extremely close with any of her three children. For the early years she did her best to show love and affection to each of them. Seeing Albus succeed in school made her proud. Aberforth was sometimes harder for her to connect with, and although he'd been in Slytherin, she loved him dearly. For the first six years of Ariana's life, it finally looked like Kendra was opening up to her children as she did to her husband. But after her daughter was attacked, Kendra began to change. Kendra had a rather normal and bland childhood. Growing up in a half Muggle, half Magical home presented its fair share of confusion and problems, but as the eldest one over her parent's five children, Kendra thought she had to be the perfect one. It was at a very early age that she learned to be a perfectionist both in sewing and in cooking. Her knack for perfection and attention to details carried over into her young adult life when she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Going to school had seemed a far off dream, the Morgan family was far from actually being rich. Not only that but her father, the Muggle side of her family, had insisted that his daughters did not need the full seven years of schooling. Thankfully, in the end, Kendra's mother had been able to convince her husband that the schooling was detrimental to Kendra as she'd be a growing witch and there was only so much that could be taught at the home. Kendra graduated in 1875 as the Head Girl of Hogwarts. Her desire to be perfect and know as much as she could possibly imagine only helped to increase her drive to become the best of the best. It was during her time at school in which Kendra met and fell head over heals in love with Percival Dumbledore. When he asked her father for her hand in marriage a few short years following graduation, Kendra was beside herself. In 1881 when Kendra gave birth to her first of three children, the transition into motherhood almost seemed natural. But as time went on and Albus got a little older, Kendra turned her attentions back to her husband. In 1884 when her second son was born, then shortly after when her daughter was born, Kendra tried her had at motherhood, and succeeded until Ariana was six. Which was when things turned sour for her. Her daughter was what many people considered to be unstable and broken. Knowing that she and Percival couldn't fix her devistated Kendra. This devistation only increased when Percival was arrested after torturing the Muggle boys who had harmed her beautiful daughter. Almost eighteen years later, following the major move from Mould-on-the-Wold to Godric's Hollow in 1890, and after many drunken nights that left her daughter alone, and many struggles of actually trying to help her child learn magic, Kendra had had enough. She was physically and mentally done acting the part of mother. In the early summer of 1899, Kendra was killed when Ariana accidentally sucked all the air out of the room-mid argument, killing her mother. Her death however was passed off as a backfired charm. | |||||||||
